albums they would like to share with the world. These are not top 5 lists, but rather 5 films and 5 albums that you may have missed out on if not for having them recommended to you here. Recommendations will not always be the obscurest of the obscure, but they're not trying to impress you. What you won't find here
are the usual movies and music people push on you.

Autobiography: one morning when I was 6, my father woke me up to get ready for school. I sat in front of the air vent on the floor where I always got dressed, took my Super Mario Bros. 2 pajama top off and picked up and put on what I wrongfully assumed was my t-shirt. Not .3 miles down the road away from our house, I realized that I had accidentally put my Super Mario Bros. 2 pajama top back on. My father refused to take me back home to change, to teach me a lesson. I pleaded with him but it was no use. The other kindergarteners relentlessly mocked me, as expected. Prayer time (how appropriate!) was interrupted by my mother, who brought me a Batman t-shirt. She was very angry with what my father had done. Their divorce was inevitable and my future was written.

Note: Zulawski's Possession and Kerrigan's Clean, Shaven were originally on my list, but Adam Wingard recommended them in his, so let me get away with 7 recommendations by suggesting you take Wingard's and my advice on that film.
